Frequently Asked Questions
What information do I need to place an order?
For most searches, a legal description or survey/abstract number is sufficient. For mineral research, the county, survey name, abstract number, and acreage are helpful. Our staff can assist you in identifying the correct legal description if needed.
How quickly can you turn around a run sheet?
Turnaround time depends on the complexity and depth of the search requested. Simple current-owner searches can often be completed same day or next day. More extensive searches covering longer time periods may take 2–5 business days. Contact us to discuss your timeline.
Do you provide mineral ownership reports?
Yes. We can research mineral ownership, royalty interests, and oil and gas leases of record in our plant counties. We work with landmen, operators, and attorneys on mineral title projects of all sizes.
Can you research properties in counties outside your plant area?
Our sister companies cover additional counties including El Paso, Hudspeth, Culberson, Hale, Swisher, Castro, Lamb, and Bailey Counties. Contact us and we can connect you with the right office for your research needs.
How do I submit an order?
You can email your order to [email protected] or call our office at 325-884-2002. Please include the county, legal description, type of search needed, and your required turnaround date.
